Cardian Matsu Machina Pensant's evolution over the last year has really been something to watch, as he's moved more comfortably into a style that mixes the percussion sources of music he began with and cool, icy synth sounds.

The progress he's made (despite already being amazing beforehand) is compelling, and this truly feels like the peak of his releases so far.

Above all else, his sense of finality is still as strong as ever in composition, with 'Amissa Nexu' having a hypnotic, unforgettable groove to it. Favorite track: Amissa Nexu.
